Sweet or savory cauliflower by Easier Cauliflower Bites 1 medium

Sweet or savory cauliflower? 🤔

Easier Cauliflower Bites
1 medium head of cauliflower, cut into golf ball size pieces
3 tbsp flour
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
4 tbsp unsweetened soy or almond milk

1/2 to 3/4 cup bread crumbs
2 tbsp nutritional yeast
1/4 tsp salt

Sweet & Spicy Sauce
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp maple syrup
2 tsp mirin
1 tbsp sriracha
1 tbsp ketchup

Buffalo Sauce (use more if making whole head of cauliflower)
1/2 cup Frank’s Red Hot Buffalo Sauce

Set oven to 425F. In a large bowl combine flour, seasonings and milk and whisk together to get a batter that has the consistency to stick to your spoon. Add your cauliflower pieces and with a spatula make sure to coat each cauliflower piece in the sauce. Make sure your cauliflower is coated with all the sauce and then sprinkle half of your bread crumbs, nutritional yeast and salt overtop and toss again to coat Sprinkle with the remaining breading ingredients and toss again until completely coated. Take your cauliflower bites and spread them out on a lined baking sheet to make sure they are not touching. Place your baking sheet in the oven for 25 minutes. Prepare sauce(s) by mixing or pouring into a bowl or bowls if making a half batch of each. Remove cauliflower and allow to cool for a few minutes. Take your pieces and dunk them into the sauces to coat. Place pieces back onto the baking sheet and bake again for 10 additional minutes to crisp back up. Remove from oven and cool slightly then enjoy

You can also cook these in your air fryer. Place in an air frier at 400F for 12-15 minutes to crisp up. Dip in your sauce and cook up again for 5-10 minutes until crisp. Air Fryer might vary so just make sure your cauliflower appears crisp on both sides before removing
