SPICY SILKEN TOFU WITH ONION AND GARLIC

❇️ FOR THE SPICY SILKEN TOFU ⤵️
🔹1 block firm silken tofu (I used morinutofu)
🔹1 small white onion, chopped
🔹2 scallions, chopped
🔹2 garlic cloves, minced
🔹1½ tbsp soy sauce
🔹1 tsp toasted sesame oil
🔹1 bird’s eye chili, sliced
❇️ METHOD ⤵️
🔹Carefully remove the silken tofu from its packaging and lightly pat to remove excess moisture then transfer to a plate.
🔹In a small pan heat up the toasted sesame oil then add the onion, scallions and garlic. Saute on medium low heat for 5 mins, until the onion is just lightly golden at the edges. Add the soy sauce and stir to combine.
🔹Lightly spoon the onion mix on top of the silken tofu then top with the bird’s eye chili. Chill for at least an hour before enjoying.
